"Position Title."  Business Title describes the duties and responsibilities of an employee in the organization.  This title is limited to 30 characters (see Business Title Abbreviation).  This title can be customized by departments to reflect the current duties of the employee.  This title may be displayed in various University directories including the Org Chart, Personal Information, time clocks and the Outlook email directory.  Employees may also use this on business cards or email signature blocks.  The Business Title is very specific compared to the Job Code Title, which is a generic compensation label for a position.     For example:  one person may have an Annual pay frequency for the amount noted in Compensation Rate of $50,000.  Another person may have an Hourly pay frequency for the amount noted in Compensation Rate of $24/hour.

    Unreported Leave Month Codes

    A list of months for which a given employee has not reported sick or vacation leave.  The list contains data for the previous twelve months and will wrap over calendar year boundaries.  The list uses numeric codes to represent the months where January = 1 and December = 12.

    • Descriptive Example: 
      Leaves are reported in the month following (e.g. Vacation time taken in February 2018 is reported in March 2018).  Balances accrue at the end of the following month.

      Example Query:
      On March 15, 2018, the Unreported Leave Month Codes is queried.  The underlying database records that leaves were not reported in February 2018, November 2017, March 2017 and January 2016.

      The Unreported Leave Month Codes are: 2, 11, 3

      Notes:
      The 3 (March) returned is for March 2017 since the March 2018 balances have not yet accrued as of the query date of March 15, 2018.
      The January 2016 is not returned since this date occurs earlier than the previous twelve months.
